Talks & Panels 

While working at gal-dem, I have appeared on ITV London News talking about ‘I Will Not be Erased’ I’ve hosted panels for V&A, Lush and Nike London, and I’ve held an open lecture at Arts University Bournemouth. And I’ve spoken at Tate Britain.

I’ve also appeared on a panels at the Young Adult Literature Convention, Contemporaryand, London Fashion Week and National Theatre.

Broadcasting 

I co-host the award-winning podcast Growing Up With gal-dem, I’ve hosted the radio programme My Name Is...Niellah  and guest hosted an episode of Open Country for BBC Radio 4. I’ve reviewed films for BBC Radio 4 The Film Programme, appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour and hosted gal-dem’s radio show on Reprezent Radio. I’ve also appeared as a guest on BBC Sounds’ Songs To Live By. 

Workshops

I’ve run workshops at Liverpool Slavery Museum, Brainchild Festival and Free Word. And held creative writing monologue workshops for children and young people at Southwark Playhouse.
